On-Stage holographic teleconferencing
Posted June 2nd, 2008 by Andrew PopoffSoon, conference calls will be a thing of the past. The cooperative project between Musion Systems and Cisco Networks created the Cisco On-Stage TelePresence Experience where the holographic systems of Musion were integrated with Cisco TelePresence.
What’s extremely interesting about this is that with cameras and IP networks, you actually have people that are not only standing on a stage across from each other, but they can also see the audience. It’s practically like the movies where you have virtual meetings at a board room where, everyone is sitting there, even though they’re not physically there.
Similarly, this technology allows you to not only be there, but interact. That way, not only voice inflection is conveyed, but also body language. This takes communications to a whole new level. Can’t wait to see this out in real working environments.

Most dummy cameras look very realistic and are very inexpensive. Also, most fake camera models are very easy to mount on a wall or ceiling. Dummy cameras come in several different designs such as dome camera designs, c-mount designs, and bullet camera designs. Most dummy cameras are relatively large so they are noticed, since being noticed is their only purpose.
