SetupBuilder 6.8 and Windows 7
Posted June 12th, 2008 by Andrew PopoffSome companies contacted us because they are already testing their software on Windows 7 (Seven) milestone releases and asked for built-in support for the next Windows OS. So we decided to add preliminary support for Windows 7 to SetupBuilder 6.8. We have ported some code back from the internal SetupBuilder 7.0 to 6.8 and the installer can detect Windows 7 now. This functionality will be part of the upcoming SetupBuilder 6.8 June 2008 Update” maintenance release.
Of course, we’ll add more (experimental) Windows 7 specific functionality to SetupBuilder over the next few months.
