Clarion Desktop 3.35 Beta

I’ve put a lot of time into Clarion Desktop over the past couple of days. If you have a few minutes to spare please try out version 3.35 Beta and let
me know if you find any problems. Assuming no problems are reported, I’ll be releasing this as 3.50 Gold on Friday.

You can download it from www.clariondesktop.com. As always, there is also a FREE version. No strings attached. No cstrings either .


Changes include the following…..

- Numerous changes to support Windows Vista
- The Download Manager now archives 3rdParty installers to MyDocuments\My Clarion Desktop Downloads
- Data files now stored in Application Data, not Program Files
- Rewrote huge amounts of code, implementing AJAX!
- The “Close” buttons now don’t cause page reloads
- Added a “Refresh” button to the “My Products” list, using AJAX
- Renamed the “Audio / Video” section to “Multimedia”, added several new items
- Moved the “Todays Feature” and “Todays Poll” sections to the left of the main screen.
- Numerous cosmetic improvements
- Numerous scripting improvements
- Numerous other fixes and improvements
